I’m Sean, a product engineer. I founded Pinboard.ai, where I work on everything from product decisions and design to architecture and code: a Next.js front end, FastAPI and Postgres, and the AI agents underneath.
By day I’m the director of product management at Applied AI Technologies in Albany, NY. I’ve spent six-plus years on multi-state government SaaS valued at $2M+ (court case management, licensing and permitting), and I run the PMO behind seven-plus concurrent engagements and about 25 people.

Defined governance standards, risk-and-issue frameworks, portfolio reporting cadences and delivery processes now used across seven-plus concurrent client engagements and a 25-person distributed team of PMs, engineers and overseas contractors.
Six initiatives · four state agencies + two commercial products
Authored proposals, RFIs, cost estimates, resource plans and solution architectures across six new IT initiatives, all presented to C-level stakeholders. Currently building the demo behind one live state bid.
Across the Applied AI portfolio
Consolidated workflows scattered across notepads, Confluence, spreadsheets, Redmine and Jira into one system for time entry, tasks, tickets and notes. Stood up the company’s internship pipeline (recruiting, onboarding, mentoring) as part of the same overhaul.
